What problems do I solve with AI?
I focus on applied AI problems that cannot be cleanly modeled—where data is noisy, incomplete, and highly individualized, and where model outputs directly shape human judgment. These challenges are especially common in health technology and physiological computing.
Rather than optimizing for performance in controlled settings, I focus on how uncertain signals and model outputs can be translated into feedback users can understand, trust, and act on.
How do I work with AI systems?
I don’t treat AI as a black box or a standalone model. I approach AI from a system-level perspective, considering data quality, model behavior, user trust, and deployment constraints as a whole. My focus is not only on how AI performs under ideal conditions, but on how it actually operates in real-world use.
